Plateau GRP Receives Award for Distinguished Service by the National Defense Transportation Association (NDTA)

Fairfax, VA, October 18, 2022 – Plateau GRP today announced the company has received the 2022 NDTA Corporate Distinguished Service Award. This award recognizes corporate members who have provided outstanding service to NDTA’s goals and programs. Jay Doraiswamy, Plateau GRP Chief Operating Officer, accepted the award from Mr. John Dietrich, Chairman of the Board, NDTA and President and CEO, Atlas Air Worldwide and VADM William A. Brown, USN (Ret.), President and CEO, NDTA at the 2022 NDTA-USTRANSCOM Fall Meeting at St Louis, MO.

“The NDTA brings together government, military and private sector leaders to share ideas that strengthen our national defense and homeland security, so receiving this award is a tremendous honor for Plateau,” remarked Mr. Doraiswamy.

Plateau supports USTRANSCOM’s enterprise data and analytic programs, as well as contributes to the NDTA’s Technology Subcommittee mission objectives.

Since World War II, the NDTA has supported U.S. national defense and homeland security by creating a trusted environment for government, military and private sector professionals to come together to solve pressing challenges in the fields of logistics, transportation and passenger travel services.

At the NDTA conference, Mr. Doraiswamy also had the opportunity and privilege of discussing USTRANSCOM’s strategic priorities with General Jacqueline D. Van Ovost, USAF, Commander, USTRANSCOM, specifically on Creating Decision Advantage by treating data as a strategic asset. General Van Ovost, stressed the importance of bringing together the operational and supply chain logistics data to provide a common operating view of mission activities to the users in the field to enable timely decisions. Plateau is committed to continuing to support USTRANSCOM’s strategic priorities and mission objectives.
